    The Business Challenge

    Many organizations manage thousands of assets, facilities and infrastructure deployed across a geographic area, but the information about them is scattered across different systems, documents and manual processes. As a result:

    • It is hard to obtain an up-to-date picture of the assets.
    • Information arriving from the field is not available in real time.
    • Maintenance and control processes are carried out manually.
    • There is a gap between the actual situation and the information in the systems.

    An asset and infrastructure management solution based on smart digital identities was implemented. The solution attaches a unique digital tag (QR, RFID or other identification means) to each physical asset or component, linked to the relevant organizational information. The system includes:
